鵝媽媽 Goose Mama – This ain’t no Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme

First full day back in Taiwan and mommy and I were making a trip to Taichung to see her sisters and my cousin. We first stopped by Din Tai Fung for some quick grub before headed to the train station…. xiao long baos <3 Xiao long baos <3 NOM NOM NOM!!!!

Their chicken soup is the best!! And they always give you a chicken foot :D

If I haven’t mentioned this before, Chicken Feet is really good for the skin, must be the collagen :D But hey, I’m Asian, I eat all parts of the animal… :D NOM!

Figures, us ladies are always eating… as soon as we got to Taichung we met up at Chun Shui Tang [a teahouse] for some tea and snacks!!!!

Spicy Chicken Feet [my fav] and Pig’s Blood Rice Cakes

Fried Mochi

My giant mug of tea… so yummy and HUGE… It was Chrysanthemum and Goji Berries Tea <3 It was sweetened so I didn’t drink all of it [I like my teas unsweetened] but I still managed to down half of it… makes me want a DAS BOOT of beer now ;D

Of course, after walking around a few shops near the teahouse…. we hopped back into the car and headed out to one of my fav goose places in Taichung… GOOSE MAMA 鵝媽媽 <3

Bean Sprouts, Scallions and GOOOOOOOOSE FAT!!! Mwahahaha

I think we ended up ordering a couple plates of the bamboo.. it was SO fresh and delicious….

All these veg are doused and cooked in goose fat <3 AMMMMAYYY-ZING – we got more orders of the veggies after these were gone [which happened super fast]

We each got a huge bowl of yummy Dong Gui 當歸 herbal noodle soups [I got the mung bean noodles, I think my cousins and aunts got egg noodles] :D So good for you and super tasty…. warms the soul <3 And my belly… hehehehe

Our first plate of Goose

Obviously it wasn’t enough. They also ran out of goose legs for the night so we ended up ordering another goose :D

Goose Blood Rice Cakes

Omg these are better than pig’s blood ones :] And I like the goose blood better than duck’s blood!!!! [Which I usually eat it really spicy with pig’s intestines]

Plate Numero DOS of Goose

Posing with our second plate of goose :] YUMMM!!!… I could eat this shizz forever… how come I can’t find goose all the time in the States?!?!?! I look like such a hot mess but just think about how gorgeous that goose is… mmmm, a bite of ginger and a dip in the spicy soy sauce <3 JOY!!!!
