Taiwan – Dec 23 – The famous Din Tai Fung

I went to the famous Din Tai Fung for lunch!!! There was a 20-30min wait but that just means over an hour. Good thing it was in a Sogo so I could wander. I was watching this dude make pancakes filled with mochi & red bean, creams, green beans, etc…

Nom nom nom!!!

The boys hard at work making xiao long baos (what they’re famous for) and their other delicious dumplings!!! Making THE perfect skin and wrapping it actually requires a lot of stamina so they’re all guys who are trained professionally making them!!! I have a video I’ll upload on here soon of them doing it super quickly!!!

Can anyone help me with videos on here? Why won’t they show up from youtube? Thanks!!!
Until then, see the video of them making away here.

THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING MEEEE~!!!!!!

You can order as many FREE side dishes as you wanted with your meal.

Oh happy day <3

Obligatory self-love bathroom pic.

LOOK how clean the bathrooms are… AND PINK :D

That night I ended up going to a really good ShangHai restaurant w/ my dad’s college classmate and family about 30min away from Taipei. It was really really good. But for family privacy I can’t post pictures :[ It was one of the best restaurants we went to in Taiwan :]

I’ll post up info when I find it. :] I have hundreds of business cards and I need to remember which one it was haha…
